This was our first time at this venue which in under new management. Bands now play in the front bar, which has a wooden floor so the acoustics aren't ideal. Anyway, a good night was had by all. |

Finally got here. After a number of false starts, we made it to the Caroline. Great atmosphere and generally very likeable people. We're looking forward to a return visit. |

Sometimes things turn out differently to the way you expect. Apparently, a previous blues band had appeared here and they were a little reluctant to have any other bands with "blues" in their name. So, we were expecting a modest reception. But, contrary to our expectations, the sizeable audience loved us. We enjoyed the night and we'll be back soon! |

As always, a wonderful reception awaited us at the Causeway, Hartlepool. Our visits here are amongst the most enjoyable gigs for us. Whether a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon, the place is always full of discerning and appreciative punters. Last night, they cheered, clapped, danced and shouted and, some of them were even sober. The last few numbers were accompanied by much dancing. And the quote of the evening, from a guy near the front "Excellent, despite the dancing!". |
