We always send out booking letters with posters. The booking letters have on the back the terms and conditions (as published on this website). We do this because of the way we have sometimes been messed about in the past. Looking at sites like Riffs, this seems to happen from time to time to all bands and appears to have happened quite a lot recently. Well today, we had a first. A landlady at a venue that shall remain nameless rang me to say that she was offended by the terms and conditions on the back of our booking confirmation and that she wanted to cancel. These are the same as those I sent with our previous booking confirmation back in February this year. "This is just a small pub not the Newcastle Arena and no other bands do this", she said. I can't speak for other people but when we do things, we try to do them properly.

Anyone who has dealt with the band will know that we only cancel gigs if we really have to. Unfortuntely, for the weekend of 10/11 August 2007, this is a necessity, as Mick has trapped a nerve in his upper back/neck. This means that as well as doing an impression of quasimodo, he has no feeling in his fingers on one hand making it impossible to play the sax or harps. Apologies to anyone who was coming to see us.
