This is new venue for us and we got the booking this week due to a cancellation. The Travellers Rest is a large pub and there is a good sized area in which to set up, excellent acoustics, easy access, good parking and, has only recently started live music. It was a quiet night but those that were there were very appreciative and, Denise, the landlady/manageress was very pleased, despite being a little under the weather. As for us, we had a blast - a really good time. The band were tight and right on the button. We are looking forward to a regular booking where the pub is packed, as we believe it should be.
