| BILL FRENCH - BASS & VOCALS From Blyth, Bill "Frenchy" French has previously played with the Whitehill Watson Band, the Piranha Brothers, Smokehouse Boys, Balls Bros and many other fine musicians. Bill's only folly is that he is ALWAYS buying new gear. When he turns up at a gig, who knows what he'll bring? | NEIL IMRIE - GUITAR & VOCALS Neil has a long-standing dedication to rock and blues music as both a player and an enthusiastic fan. He has performed on and off due to work commitments over the years in the UK, Chicago, California, Poland, Holland, Italy and Egypt with all kinds of musicians. Neil uses Fender Strat Plus, Deluxe and American Standard guitars, Boss, Jim Dunlop and Wobo effects and, Mesa Boogie amplification. Neil likes slow sleazy blues, gigging, Walter Trout and John Mayall. He dislikes unloading the gear back home at the end of the night. | | | MICK CANTWELL- VOCALS, SAX & HARPS Mick has been around a bit but keeps coming back to Soul, Rhythm and Blues. He has had sojourns playing rock, pop, folk, soul, swing, jazz, and even opera (I like opera too - I just can't stand the *&£$! singing). He has gigged across the UK and northern Europe, and once upon a time recorded an album for MCA which we presume has disappeared without trace because no other band members have heard it. He also plays sax with modern jazz outfit CG4Jazz. Mick uses Selmer and Yamaha saxes. Otto Link and Lawton mouthpieces. Hohner Pro Harps, Laney and Fender amplification. He likes long solos, SM57 (no feedback), Marcus Malone and good audiences. He dislikes playing in the dark, drunks who try to pick up his saxophone or generally in the vicinity of his gear. | WENDELL SOWERBY - DRUMS Wendell has just finished over 12 years community service at the Engineers Club, Darlington to join the band - I don't what he did ... but 12 years ... it must have been bad! Wendell was formerly with the Queen tribute band Legend and has ooddles of experience (i.e., old b*stard). | |
